TYZOPIP-PLUS Injection 4.5 g is a sterile intravenous antibacterial injection containing Piperacillin 4 g and Tazobactam 0.5 g. This combination of a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic with a β-lactamase inhibitor is indicated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections. Tazobactam enhances the activity of Piperacillin by protecting it from bacterial enzyme degradation, providing extended antibacterial coverage against a wide range of Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria. TYZOPIP-PLUS is intended for intravenous administration under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
